Oversluizen Thermal Engineering is specialized in the in-house calculation, design and manufacturing of cooling systems for combustion engines in close consultation with the commissioner.
Depending on the type of installation and the associated (environmental) requirements, Oversluizen is able to develop a product, varying from one type of cooler to a combination of several types of coolers.
The steps to be taken are always clear:
First the motor data is requested and analyzed. Possibly in consultation with the engine manufacturer, any variables are recognized and discussed. Based on the design criteria, such as dimensions and noise requirements, calculations are made of the various coolers. This calculations lead to a required amount of air and resistance.
Based on these amounts, a fan is calculated in which any additional resistance for soundproofing measures that need to be taken, is observed.When these calculations have been performed, engineering creates a draft design. With the calculations of the coolers, the fan and the draft design, the drawing department creates the first concept design.
Then, it’s all about details in consultation with the customer, such as supports, the locations of the connections, any certifications, types of finishing, the color, security etc.
The diversity in clients requires a diversity of certifications. Oversluizen provides the customer with the possibility of an Atex-certified cooling package, welding certifications in compliance with NEN ???????? and Stoomwezen quality mark.
