Due to continuous improvement of materials, contact surfaces and flows, it is important to be able to process these changes in our future calculations. In order to be able to record these values, Oversluizen has the option of performing cooling measurements, varying from stationary to mobile agricultural machines.
This mobile measuring equipment was composed and designed by the Technisch Hogeschool Rijswijk in cooperation with the Albeda College and Oversluizen.
Crafted for measuring existing industrial cooling system, the data can be processed real-time with a maximum of 22 input signals. In addition to temperatures, it’s also possible to read possible pressures and flows using a MobiSense data logger, developed by Inducon B.V.
With the availability of a number of sensors, virtually every industrial cooling unit can be measured, including turbos and pressure differences over the cooling block. In addition, in most cases it is possible to:
1. Study the air flow through the radiator
2. Identify dead spots and / or false air
3. Determine pump flow
4. Determine cooling capacity of the cooling unit
In practice it appears that a complete measurement consumes about 1 full day. Including mounting and de(assembly) a measurement consumes 3 work days. Oversluizen will present the measuring result to the persons involved.
