Plate coolers are known for their high level of efficiency per cooling surface. Where pipe heat exchangers have a heat conduction of 1000 W/m2K a plate exchanger has a heat conduction that is 7 times that. Preferably cooled with fluids, plate exchangers are applied in many industries.
Due to this large efficiency, the dimensions of these coolers are small. The plate coolers provided by Oversluizen can be built with practical clip-on gaskets which can be detached and reused after cleaning. They can also be easily detached when they need to be replaced.

Plate coolers are suitable for fluids, gases and 2 phase flows. The choice of material for the plates and connections is determined the cooling medium. Stainless steel in different forms, hastelloy and titanium fall within the standard. The calculated systems are optimized for pressure drop, pollution etc. Additional advantages are:

In addition to fitting the coolers with gaskets, we also have a wide range of soldered heat exchange, which we can use to provide several medium under very high pressures and temperatures with cooling. For additional security these coolers can be manufactures as double walled so that environmental problems in case of leakage can be identified at an early stage.
