Oversluizen has always believed sending christmas- and New Year cards to be a waste of money and resources. Often, these cards woudn’t reach their destination, but we still wanted to send greetings and a sort of thank you. To eliminate this form of waste and to act according to modern standerds, Oversluizen had a piece of software developed that enabled us to send our relationships seasonal greetings through e-mail. This consumed little time and it enabled us to send everyone a personal message.
If the recipient downloaded the message, he/she was allowed pick a charity, to whom Oversluizen would donate a predetermined amount of money.
We have received very nice and very personal response to this and we will surely repeat it this year. For the result, go to the results
From her position in society, Oversluizen attaches great importance to educating young people as well as older people.
To embody this involvement, Oversluizen invested in 2 yeast cabinets and 2 refrigerators for Stadsbrouwerij Dordrecht (City Brewery),to enable young people to learn the profession of brewer. In addition, this micro brewery isan earn and learn company. In cooperation with the DA Vinci College, this allows studends of VMBO, MBO and HBO the opportunity of brewing beer the traditional way and to market this in an interesting manner. Oversluizen believes that socially responsible entrepreneurship should be an important detail in her daily behavior, not just internally towards our own employees but also towards customers and suppliers.
To achieve this, Oversluizen has established its own Code of Conduct, to which all employees have had to commit. You can download this Code of Conduct. Of course, this Code is subject to change and adjustments, but it is a guide to all employees, suppliers and customers.
